| There is lots of information about the various early railroads in the US with emphasis on Norfolk Southern in the displays before this timeline. |

| The museum was almost completely indoors and temperature controlled. Lovely on a hot day. We did quickly look at the outdoor stock before retreating to the indoor comfort. |

| We had parked in the Strasberg Railroad parking area instead of by the museum so we saw this old steam locomotive being hitched to this rail car. |
