Red Cliff National Recreation Area - Day 1

We had to go under the interstate to get to Red Cliffs Recreation Area.  There is a campground there but our truck and trailer wouldn't fit through the tunnels.
We decided to walk the Red Cliff trail first.  Beautiful agave flowers along the path.
What the trail looked like
It's a beautiful place to hike as long at the temp isn't too warm.  It was warm enough when we went.
More flower sniffin'
Beautiful aren't they?
Dinosaur tracks along the way.

Next up was the Anasazi Trail that went across a stream.

We got to the ruins and read the signs.

Part of the ruins were under cover but most were re-covered with soil after the archeologists were done.
