Arches National Park

Our first stop in Arches National Park is the Windows.  In this photo the photographer is standing in a spot where they can see both the North and South Windows.

This is the North Window.  Lot of people here.

Looking toward the north we could see another window and an arch forming.

Looking back the way we came, we could see the Double Arch.  We walked to this in 1997.  We could see another window there too.

This is Turret Arch.  There's another small window to the left of it.

Next we went to Delicate Arch.  We did not walk the 1.5 mile trail to the Arch but did walk to the Upper Arch View.  On the way we saw this fellow sitting on a rock.
There were lots of green mineral in the hills.  The sun came out and highlighted this section.
The view of the Arch from the Lower Arch View before we started to climb to the Upper Arch View.

The view of the Arch from the Upper View.  If you enlarge this photo you can see the people around the foot of it and along the ridge.

Our last stop in Arches was the Fiery Furnace viewpoint.  You need a permit or go on a guided hike in order to hike at Fiery Furnace.

Well the red color sure didn't come out in this photo.  We saw some people walking on the top.
