The coast started out with some straight roads but we knew the curves were coming. 
..We did a lot of switch-backs following the coast. 
....It was hazy ahead and we were going into the sun so the best views were behind us. 
The day was windy with temps in the low 50's so it wouldn't have been a good day to be out on the bikes.

The day was windy with temps in the low 50's so it wouldn't have been a good day to be out on the bikes. We ran across one section of road where the ground had slid onto the road. We had to wait for traffic from the other direction to stop so we could go around the pile.
Clouds rolled in and it became dark pretty fast. We were too late to get a tour of this lighthouse. Oh, you can't see the lighthouse in this photo.
