Motorcycling in the Black Hills.

Traded in our car for two motorcycles?  Heck no.  JoAnn wanted to rent a motorcycle while in the Black Hills.  So it was either rent one myself or stay home.  We rented two 2015 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softails.  Here we are back at the truck and trailer taking a butt and bathroom break.  The reason we bought the used truck back in 2004 and had it modified was to carry our two 800 pound motorcycles in it since there wasn't any toyhaulers back then we liked.  We sold the motorcycles over four years ago so this was the first ride since then.   



Lots of great scenery.  We rented the motorcycles from Black Hills Harley-Davidson in Rapid City, SD.  We could have picked any motorcycle we wanted, but they are all stock motorcycles and not set up to what we would have been used to.  The Heritage has pull back handlebars and seemed to be the best choice for a stock motorcycle. 

We rented the two motorcycles for four hours.  Was long enough for me.  JoAnn liked the fit of the Heritage, but for me it was to uncomfortable.  So had to stop every hour for me to have a butt break. 

After returning the motorcycles we went to Applebees for a late lunch.
