Embarkation Day

 

We had a late lunch at the hotel restaurant then met our taxi at the hotel entrance.  There were lots of long lines to wait in since there were three cruise ships of people boarding this day.

We had a verandah room on the aft of the ship.

Every day we got a daily bulletin listing what activities and events were happening during that day on board the ship.  

We had a late lunch at the buffet then did our unpacking before heading back to the promenade to watch the departure happenings.

The ship was still being fueled. 

Float planes were taking off and landing.

Ships were being loaded at the cargo port.

Our ship got underway, and this harbor patrol boat crew monitored our progress.

I think this was a passenger ferry.

We said Goodbye to Vancouver as we left the Lion Gate Bridge behind us.

After dinner we saw this light behind us.

Just another cruise ship leaving port.
