| This post is mainly about reading all the information because the actual camp is 99% gone. There was a driving route around the site but there wasn't much to see. |

| We just happened to be at this barracks when a park ranger was telling some new interns about the structure. Seems when the park service wanted to reconstruct some historical barracks, the state of CA made them do them up to code since it would be too dangerous for people to be in them otherwise. No historically correct buildings here. |
