| The first full day of our cruise was a day at sea. |

| One phone app I find useful when traveling is my big clock. It also serves as a nightlight. |

| We could watch the ship's progress on the TV. |

| We didn't do much this day besides eating and watching presentations. In the morning the presentations were about Alaska and the Iditarod. In the afternoon the presentation was on Glacier Bay. After dinner we went to the Captain's Welcome which was followed by a dance show. |

| Our friend was celebrating a birthday, so we went to the steakhouse for dinner where he got this cake. We were too stuffed to eat it. |

| The room stewards made us a hand towel shrimp. At least that was our guess as to what this was. |
