Mineral Museum at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology
I forced Nolan to take me to the Mineral Museum at the NM Institute of Mining and Technology. We took the truck because we had to get the new tire for the trailer. It almost fit in the parking spot.
I love looking at these beautiful rocks. There were more than 2,000 to look at from NM and around the world. So just take a peek at what we saw.
Nolan thought this was a hoot. Yep, fossilized dung. This is a fossil mollusk called Cephalopoda Orthoceras from the Sahara Desert in Morocco.
